Lip Blushing

WHAT IS IT?

Lip Blush Tattooing is a form of semi-permanent makeup used to enhance the natural tint and shape of the lips, giving them a boost and a glossy touch.

It does not actually make them fuller; however, it was designed to define and contour the lips, giving them the appearance of being fuller, very naturally.

WHO IS IT FOR?

It is suitable for most clients of all ages (+18) and lifestyles wanting a subtle lip color, It can be particularly good for older women who have lost pigment in their lips as they've aged.

HOW PERMANENT IS IT?

Generally, lip blushing lasts several years (2-4), although one's lifestyle contributes to how quickly it fades; sun exposure and smoking can speed up the fading process; as well, if you’re oil-prone, have an iron deficiency or use a lot of exfoliating products in your skin regimen, the pigment could fade more quickly.

DOES IT HURT?

Like microblading, through the use of numbing cream, we can make the procedure painless.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AFTER THE PROCEDURE?

Immediately following the procedure, you may experience minimal discomfort on the treated area. It's often describe as a similar sensation to a sunburn, with some redness and swelling. These symptoms will subside within 24 to 48 hours.

The tattooed area will appear darker and bolder in color for the first week, and more sharply defined than the final result.

Throughout the first few weeks of the healing period minimal scabbing or flaking of the treated skin is normal. DO NOT itch or remove scabs, this can result in loss of pigmentation; they will naturally fall off on their own.

Adjustments and touch-ups can be made only after the healing period is complete.
